This 238-acre park located in the Linwood neighborhood is
named for Otto Armleder (1862-1935), a Cincinnati businessman who owned a
carriage manufacturing company, which later turned into a truck company. A philanthropist, Mr. Armleder also donated
some of his wealth to benefit the city and the park system.
The park is a collaborative effort between the Cincinnati
Park Board, Hamilton County Park District, and Cincinnati Recreation
Commission. There are hiking trails,
picnic shelters, a playground, huge fields and meadows, and soccer fields. The park also has a 10-acre dog park and
access to the Little Miami River. There
are bike paths around the park as well as a new 1.9 mile trail connecting the
park to the Lunken Field loop and the Ohio River Trail.
